Imitation Objects is a collective of artists who have teamed up to share our unique perspectives of NYC's overlooked art & culture scenes. We aim to reveal, highlight and critique our obsessions (music, art, design, film, etc.) to inspire, support and recognize the people who inspire us. And to answer the question: "What should I be doing right now?"

Focused: We're picky. And atypical. You're tapping into what we share with each other on a daily basis anyway. But now it's on the Intertrons for all to see. Lucky you.

Filtered: We sift through the crap so you don't have to. And there's a lot of that in NYC. Do you have time for that? Didn't think so. Neither do we.

Unfamous: Fame is overrated. We support who we like regardless of status. Period. Hey, that might be you.
